Event: Yukon Culinary Festival 2016

It’s back!

I had heard rumblings that it wasn’t returning this year, but to my surprise, there it was on Twitter!

No only that, one of the main photos on the site has yours truly in it!

Anyways, if you’re not familiar, I mentioned it last year and volunteered both days of the event.

I’d be happy to donate my time and effort again this year, but full-time work and a visit from my brother and his family that weekend are hampering my efforts. That said, we’ll head to at least one of the session.

This year it’s happening in and around the Whitehorse area on August 19-21.

I will warn you now, most of the events aren’t cheap, they will run you $75-$165 per person. However the Fireweed Market booth will give people a chance to try a little something without that financial commitment.

But based on my experiences last year, the food was delicious and in nice settings. I look forward to attending again.
