My husband and I aren’t much for Valentine’s Day. We get each other cards, but that’s about it. That said, the red store shelves of Shoppers Drug Mart and diamond-laden commercials do tend to remind us to do something nice, but it’s never on the 14th, and there aren’t flowers or chocolates.

It has finally happened. I have visited one of the two Tim Hortons. Can you believe it has […]
A few weeks ago I started working on my Ultimate List of Restaurants (and places to get food) in Whitehorse. I scoured lists, did searches and tried to remember every place that has been recommended to me.
This is one of those posts that somehow slipped through the cracks. I went there as I was killing time before going to pick up my husband at the airport. I probably had a mango or raspberry-heavy smoothie. I only remembered that I had visited when I was looking back through my iphone photos and found this.
This visit was my second attempt going to 506 All Day Grill. The first involved me walking in by myself only to find there wasn’t an open seat in the house. I’m not a big fan of waiting (until I know and expect it, and even then I’m not a particularly patient person) so I walked out.
