Once upon a time (like 1.5 years ago), there was a little Asian grocery store here in Whitehorse. It did not survive and the space sat empty for a while. Then a few weeks ago I noticed new signage on the building.
New restaurants are my favourite thing.
Especially since I’ve got little left to try.
I had a small role in helping organize the Royal Visit, so this event happened right in the midst of it all. Needless to say it was overshadowed by a couple of folks that were in the same complex a few days later.
The rate of posts has decreased significantly as the number of restaurants has fallen as well. But fear not, I’ve got a few coming. (Including one from an event in September that got lost in the mix!)
Instead of just having me tell you my favourite restaurants, I want to know your faves!
Please fill out my survey, it’s only 10 questions long.
I live south of what people usually think of as the city, but technically, it’s still the city. We just don’t have water or sewage or neighbours that we can see.
Since moving out here, I definitely have been cooking more, as I weigh the idea of going into town for food vs. making something, even if I am feeling completely lazy.
And if I’ve been gone all day at work, I like to let the dog out as soon as possible, so that nixes staying in town for dinner.
But I guess there’s another option.
So this happened in August.
Yep, I’m really getting behind with these posts.
I visited Giorgio’s over a month ago but am only writing the post now because I deleted the photos I took of the visit. (Photo above from their website)
