I drive past the Airport Chalet every day to and from work. It always seems busy (though I don’t know how many cars belong to motel guests and how many are dining in the restaurant).
My husband came back from work at camp with a bad cold and the last thing he wanted to do was cook dinner. I wasn’t much more interested after a long week at work.
Now that I’m part of the working world, I can’t get out for all those lunches I did in the first part of the blog. It makes it also harder to hit up the remaining food trucks.
I try not to judge a book by its cover, or a restaurant by its exterior.
If I did, there’d be plenty of fantastic hole-in-the-wall restaurants that I would miss and truck stop haunts which I would pass by.
I did it folks. I hit up the third Subway in the Canada Games Centre.
If there are two things you should know about me after reading this blog for over a year (yes, over a year now), it’s that I love food and I am crazy about my dog.
Trails North was a suggestion from a reader and then I happened upon a photo of an amazing burger on Facebook.
