On a snowy winter night we set out for Wintering Ground cafe. Luckily for us, it’s just a short drive (like 2 minutes) from our home.
I live south of what people usually think of as the city, but technically, it’s still the city. We just don’t have water or sewage or neighbours that we can see.
Since moving out here, I definitely have been cooking more, as I weigh the idea of going into town for food vs. making something, even if I am feeling completely lazy.
And if I’ve been gone all day at work, I like to let the dog out as soon as possible, so that nixes staying in town for dinner.
But I guess there’s another option.
So this happened in August.
Yep, I’m really getting behind with these posts.
I visited Giorgio’s over a month ago but am only writing the post now because I deleted the photos I took of the visit. (Photo above from their website)
I frequent the market almost weekly. But without fail, Faladi’s was there when I wasn’t hungry or needing a meal. And when I wanted me some falafel, he wasn’t there.
As I admitted in my last post, I have been quite busy as of late. Which is too bad, because I have actually tried a bunch of places recently and I’m afraid I’m forgetting things!
Let’s go back to August and revisit my visit.
