How much sushi can one town have? I think that’s the question Whitehorse is trying to answer.
On a snowy winter night we set out for Wintering Ground cafe. Luckily for us, it’s just a short drive (like 2 minutes) from our home.
Another day, another new Whitehorse restaurant!
Once upon a time (like 1.5 years ago), there was a little Asian grocery store here in Whitehorse. It did not survive and the space sat empty for a while. Then a few weeks ago I noticed new signage on the building.
New restaurants are my favourite thing.
Especially since I’ve got little left to try.
The rate of posts has decreased significantly as the number of restaurants has fallen as well. But fear not, I’ve got a few coming. (Including one from an event in September that got lost in the mix!)
I visited Giorgio’s over a month ago but am only writing the post now because I deleted the photos I took of the visit. (Photo above from their website)
I frequent the market almost weekly. But without fail, Faladi’s was there when I wasn’t hungry or needing a meal. And when I wanted me some falafel, he wasn’t there.
